Harlandale TRTA General Election Forum

Pete Flores (SD 19) attended the Harlandale ISD TRTA (Texas Retired Teachers Association) General Election Forum. Also present were Republican candidates Rick Galindo (HD 117), John Lujan (HD 118) and Libertarian Ruben Corvalan (CD 23). No Democrats showed up for the event.

Block Walk for Peter Flores in San Antonio

The Friends of Peter Flores for Texas Senate held a block walk for Peter Flores on Saturday, September 24 in South San Antonio. We visited areas in the Southern end of Bexar County. These events can be fun and engaging. Please come out and enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie of working with the most enthusiastic supporters of Peter Flores whenever we block walk.

We’ll be walking every Saturday until the election.

Uvalde Candidate Forum

A candidate forum was held at SouthWest Texas Junior College (SWTJC) for the candidates of Uvalde County, Senate District 19 and Congressional District 23. Pete Flores appeared in person to meet the students and faculty, answer questions and visit with supporters and candidates.

Medina County Parade

The Friends of Peter Flores attended the Medina County Parade and Fair in Hondo, Texas and spread the word that Peter Flores is getting ready to assume his rightful place in the Texas Senate representing Senate District 19 this January.

Water Carnival in Fort Stockton

Pete Flores and friends attended the Water Carnival Parade in Fort Stockton, Texas followed by a “Meet and Greet”. Our entry included the traditional Patriotic Texas truck with flags and the Republican Elephant. We had a great day visiting with the good folks of Fort Stockton and Pecos County. We send a special thanks to our good friends, Thomas and Dru Kincaid.

Sporting Clay Shoot in San Antonio

A fundraiser was held in the honor and support of Peter Flores for Senate, SD 19 at the National Shooting Complex in western Bexar County. In addition to a successful fundraising effort the participants had a little fun shooting clay pigeons in a well designed sporting shoot environment then followed by the consumption of some Texas traditional BBQ. It was a fun evening.

Independence Day Parade in Castroville

Pete Flores and friends attended the Independence Day Parade in Castroville, Texas. We again entered two floats supporting Peter Flores for Senate, a truck entry with patriotic flags representing our rugged individual Texas values and his signature Model A entry representing the past ever enduring values of the Republican Party. The Model A was driven by supporter Les Hearron and accompanied by his wife Billie Hearron. We had a great day visiting with the good folks of Medina County.

Independence Day Parade in Leakey

Pete Flores and friends attended the Independence Day Parade in Leakey, Texas. The entry contained two floats to honor his presence, one representing the support from Real County and a second entry in the form of a Model A driven by owner Les Hearron representing the Party’s past support for our long lasting conservative values. It was a fun day.

San Antonio Biennial Potluck BBQ & Candidate Forum

Pete visited with the Republican Party candidates and delegates at the San Antonio Biennial Potluck Barbecue & Convention Candidate Forum. He met some new people and held discussions and conversations with old acquaintances. In attendance were several candidates running for GOP party offices including Tom Mechler for State Chair, Amy Clark for Vice Chair, Cathie Adams for Vice Chair, Robin Armstrong for National Committeeman, Rick Figuroa for National Committeeman, Terri DuBose for SREC SD 19, Naomi Narvaiz for SREC SD 21, Mark Dorazio for SREC SD 25, Linda Kinney for SREC SD 25 and Fred Rangel SREC SD26.
